International Data Transfer Statement
Where your information is stored and processed, and the safeguards applied to international transfers.
This statement explains, transparently, the circumstances in which personal information may be transferred across borders, the legal basis relied upon and the safeguards applied.
1. How our data processing is structured
This is a static website. It has no registration, no online payment and does not actively collect visitors' personal information. We receive personal information only when you choose to contact us by email or through our enquiry form.
2. Storage locations and cross-border situations
- Website hosting: Hong Kong, China (Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong region).
- Business email: hosted by email service providers located in Hong Kong, China and abroad.
- Business and customer records: held on office equipment and business systems located in mainland China.
- As a result, when you send us information from the EU/EEA or elsewhere, it may be transferred to, and processed in, Hong Kong, China or mainland China.
3. Legal basis and safeguards
- Under Article 46 GDPR we rely, where necessary, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914); where you have given explicit consent or the transfer is necessary for a contract with you, the Article 49 derogations apply.
- Under Article 38 PIPL and China's Measures for the Standard Contract for Cross-border Transfer of Personal Information, where personal information is provided overseas we will give the required notice, obtain separate consent and conclude a standard contract or complete a security assessment as applicable.
- Technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit (TLS), least-privilege access, staff confidentiality obligations, retention limits and audit logging.
4. Your rights are not reduced by transfer
International transfers do not reduce any right you hold under the GDPR or PIPL. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection at any time by writing to sales@qzgychem.com, and you may ask us to explain the transfer safeguards we rely on and to provide a copy.
